What about the new trend in new cars towards robotics, one day maybe it won't be necessary to take a test it'll all be built into the car with our input limited to the destination.

On another note I think a cars ability to park itself should be made compulsory as 99% of drivers are just plain lazy.
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"

Yes, the technologies I work on are linked to autonomous vehicles .... and despite the potential benefits it's not something I want to see.
I was at a conference a few years ago where everyone seemed to be wildly in favour of autonomous vehicle .... except for 2 of us .... me (who enjoys riding and driving) and the guy from Ferrari ....

.... and yes, my car can park itself - though again, I prefer to do that myself.
