Haha - note the 'we' part of that comment. I do most of my bike loading/unloading solo. I'd like to see you chuck a Falco in the back of a van without a ramp...

I think I'm too chicken to try to load a big bike into a van by myself. I managed to load my previous bikes including the Falco bikes onto my trailer without any help but when I bought the K1200 I fitted an electric winch so that I could concentrate on keeping it upright while the winch did the work. Feels much safer that way. However, typically, I've never needed to use it in anger since I fitted it!

That's the whole point though - like taking your waterproofs so it doesn't rain!
