I'm with Tim, religion has been causing most wars since we've had any sort of religion.

Whether it was the Spaniards wiping out the Aztecs or the battles of the Crusades, it was all about greed in the name of religion.
Problem is you cannot separate the two because the greed for gold gave the churches much power at that time, and they craved for that just as much.
Sorry, but I find it impossible to see past this after all this time, when we still seem to be fighting the same bloody Crusades in a very different way.

Beginning to think the Romans, under the emperor Hadrian, had the right idea back in 136 AD.

Oh, silly, forgot - that's what started this whole business

I do hope that interlect may surpass greed, albeit temporary.
A ceasefire was agreed today @ 7pm
In 8 days of conflict the score is
Palestine 150 fatalities, over half of them civvies, half of them kids
Isrealis 5 fatalities,details not known

Brutality is met with brutality, I cant undestand how the world looks @ the stock exchange and then fits blinkers when it suits, maybe sentimental but easy to turn the page when you dont live in a conflict zone.
