On one of the incidents I was involved in a female solicitor decided to try to overtake 40 cars waiting to join the M6 only when she saw three lorries coming off the motorway and drive into my stationary vehicle half way down the queue.

She without hesitation admitted she was a gimp and we duly approached the insurance. They offered me a vauxhall Corsa base model. I politely explained that due to my somewhat generous proportions that I wouldn't fit into said car. Would they consider an Astra or the next one up. I was happy to arrange it if it saved money overall.

The answer was a resounding no as you are not allowed ro benefit from the accident. So I said fair enough if you cant provide me with a Honda prelude by tomorrow ill ring an accident rapist company who charged them 4k for a months hire of a primera total cost to insurers was over 10k as I refused writing off the car so they spent over 3k in replacing the whole back suspension etc

It's not just the people who suffer the accidents pushing up the claims cost it's fek wits like that who won't or can't see common sense
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

I don't think I'd take a speed awareness course. If I'm caught speeding I know the effects of the speed I'm doing. I don't speed in town though.

The main effect of my speed is to get me there quicker :smt002

I got caught by a mobile speed camera last month (35mph in a 30 limit) in our neighbouring village - ReggieGasket's village actually!. I'm usually really careful through villages but was not concentrating. opted for the speed awareness course at £90 but no points. Going on Dec 4th so I'm interested to see the attitude of the course tutors and delegates (can I call us "delegates"?).

I think you'll just be required to admit that at 35 mph you would have been a greater risk to the public than a fully armed Anders Breivik teamed up with Jimmy Saville and let loose on a Norwegian island full of teenagers ....... whereas if you'd stuck to 29.9mph you'd be as saintly and cuddly as Mother Theresa in a fluffy bunny costume.

Sorry to bring in at least one of Pete's fantasy's in this imagery

I love it when Mother Theresa dresses up

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

I'll file a full report back to base following the event.

Well don't rush back to quickly to make your report - you don't want to be sent on a repeat course straight away
