"Why car insurance premiums will jump 25% "
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.
Don't you mean RSA clients will pay more?
The last 4 years my insurance has gone down year on year, even tho I had to make a claim on an unlicenced and uninsured driver, where my company paid nearly 5k out.
I also have in place insurance that allows 2 accidents in 3 years at fault with no penalty.
On my current car (merc 220 cdi) the premium is £625 fully comp on unlimited mileage and any driver over 29.
