My mate managed to get a Subaru pick up running using a large coffee jar wi th afew inches of fuel in it, one small tube running thru the lid and into the fuel,another larger tube thru the lid above the fuel then fitted onto the carb opening that is usually covered by the air filter,left jar in sunshine for a mo and bingo !
I will admit the pick up didnt drive anywhere but the theory works.
No way will it be able to beat an injection system bangin pressurised fuel into a V twin but its intersesting shit
I rely on a generator for my electrickery so could be handy !
