How can you get rid of petrol pong from Leathers

Write to the manufacturers of your leathers and ask them, they're bound to say the leathers are no longer fit for purpose and should be replaced, you can then use that letter to claim the cost of replacing them from the petrol station.

Maybe he's sense of smell is as bad as my hearing.
