New members may have noticed that they have to answer a simple question as a part of registering

One of the back room guys - actually a lady called Jake - added this in recently to try and reduce the horrendous spam the site has been getting..... As several mods have commented we were getting in excess of 200 new accounts a day....

So, the number of spammers has greatly reduced - and now we can start to trim off the shite.... I think that it is unlikely that we do actually have 12 700 odd members ( we do have some weird and odd members but...) now time to get that list sorted....

I expect that we may make the odd cock up.... Please email me at ridersite@petedean.org.uk if you get deleted and want the account set up again

Please put Ridersite Account as the subject - that will flag it up straight away - anything else in the subject field to that email address gets automatically shredded....

And about time I would say.

I would however flame PHP, its so insecure its a joke. (v4 is even worse than 3)

But please don't ask why, I can't deal witht the techy side of the web :(
