:smt006 Not only made the Rappy shiny but also made the TLgearsticklinkage work, yes my knee hurts like bedammed - but got home using gears. and as far as I can tell no hacksaw, nor angle grinder was used in the process :smt109

I've ordered the 'right' bit from OEMmotorparts (postage is Eek but they actually have the bits) might take a week or more but I'm mobile in the meantime :smt003

No sweat, the gear lever did have a brief visit to the BIG VICE up in my office, but it was indeed a hacksaw free operation!
