Had a search, but seem to get every post ever listed....so
Can anyone confirm what the min. tread depth is for France??
I have about 2.5mm left on mine & am going over next month, someone has told me that in France min. tread on a bike is 2mm but I can't find any conf. of this or anything conclusive any different.
Over here min is 1mm so I am well OK for riding at home, but don't want to fall out with our galic (should that be garlic???) friends over the other side.
Am looking at doing about 1,500 miles 2-up. Have Avon Storm 2 front & back which I love, if it is 2mm min. sure there will not be enough, if it is same as here 1mm think I will be fine.
Thanks

Can't comment of France but Spain is another matter. One of the lads needed to get a new tyre whilst we were in Northern Spain in 09.
We found a local bike shop who told us he had another tyre to do first......

They do believe in getting their moneys worth

I've spent 50% of my life riding motorcycles, the rest I've wasted!
