Bit pointless IMO.
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

I'm probably being thick but can't see the theoretical gain, just weight gain.

The reason that they will be doing this will be to use the opposite rotational inertia of the discs to offset the rotational inertia of the wheel and tyre. Not so stupid but probably too much complexity for the benefit.

Hmmm need to think a bit more as to what the gyroscopic effects may be .... I'll go and consider ....

I'm not convinced, seems to put a number of moving parts in place of none thereby increacing the likelihood of failure, not good for a safety system. More unsprung weight too as already noted.

This caught my eye on youtube.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15CJFBhu ... ature=fvwp good soundtrack too

I've always been interested in the rim brakes Buell used, seemed like a good solution. Apparently the increased swept area gives more braking effort and less unsprung weight if you can drop to a single disk.

So the Brakko CWB looks interesting. Not convinced about the weight savings and the connection of the calipers to the forks through the spindle tube. looks like changing a disk or wheel would be painfuly expensive.
