Why would you take a telly to the toilet?

well I guess it's not much of a leap forward from taking a book or a newspaper - but somewhat less useful when the bog-roll runs out ....

Bought our Samsung Plasma 42" from Richer Sounds about 2 years ago.

The picture quality is great. It doesn't use too much power - not as much as the kettle anyway. The price was right - though it seems a little expensive now - at £549 including a five year guarantee. It looks good on the wall. And it has saved us a load of space. It is also 1080P which came as a shock as it was advertised as 720 but, apparently, Samsung use the same chipsets in most of their TV's and sometimes you get the 'wrong' one enabled.

I like it anyway.

I know I'm a bit late with this but anyone looking to buy something TV or Hi-Fi related could do a lot worse than have a look at Richer Sounds, at least as a comparison.
I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?

Richer Sounds is ace. Spent many an afternoon drooling over their kit. Trouble is, if I'm there too long I become Poorer Will..lol..

Well, picked it up today and I've ever so slightly miss judged the size of the old TV. It seems 42" is a LOT bigger than the old one..lol.. My living room is now a small cinema room..lol. Sound quality of the TV is the only thing that lets it down, so i've dug out an old mini hi-fi system and rigged that up to it.. Sounds ace, looks ace. :smt003
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Aw heck - bet you're selling tickets to visitors now.
Guess I might afford a mid week visit if you're doing "Orange Wednesdays".

Depends if you're an Orange customer, but you're more likely to get through if quality beer is bought..lol.. :smt003
