Some of you may remember my post on the last site re. getting the honda civics clutch replaced and the resultant price confusion debacle........

Well I've just had a letter in with the final price....

just to recap.........

quoted £350 - £450 dependant on chassis no.

after work completed, presented with a bill for £660.58

complained........ offered £80 off price.........

still not happy.........

today letter with bill for £295.74 :smt004

me a happy bunny. Just goes to show it is worth complaining politely hehehehe

It also beats me how they can charge the original price and then be able to discount it so much :smt017

Great news!

Dont know about the discount part of it tho..

I was quotes 300 quid for spares for the lil' Bro in law's BMW. A bit of negotiation saw that down to 150 quid!

I guess the discount is the real price, the quoted prices given are just with the added guillability factor added.
