Racers' traits..

#1 Post by Kwackerz » Sun Apr 25, 2010 12:22 pm

There's been a few over the years, the biggest being kneedown round corners I guess, but is anyone else getting pissed off with the Rossi-isms?

There's the sticking the foot out.. everyone now seems to do it!!

and there's the postrace and pre-race interviews!!

'FOR SURE '

Every one of them says it!! Yet its only been the past year or so it's been adopted beyond the Italians.. (Italians: Anyone with Rossi in their name)

Now you know it. Want to get on in racing? Get your kneedown in bends, stick your leg out entering corners and shout out 'for sure!' whenever you can

Have you noticed that whenever Rossi is interviewed (especially post race) he almost always starts in the same way.

Smile - "Yes" - Pause ..... and then on with whatever he wanted to say.

When Daniel (my eldest) and i are watching these post race interviews we tend to automatically join in the "yes" along with Valantino ..... bet you'll start to do the same

PLEASE DON'T GIVE AWAY TODAY'S RESULTS

Virgin screwed me today ..... and yesterday .....

There is a fault in the Coventry area with one channel that "their engineers are trying to fix" ..... and guess which channel that is ..... yep Eurosprt 2 ..... (the only reason I have NTL/Virgin TV is for the bike racing)

So now I'm trying hard to avoid the results until the highlights come on Eurosport 1 late tonight ....

:smt001 Don't worry, you'd never believe the results anyway. The way Fogarty passed Edwards on the start finish straight was amazing... :smt002

Blame the scandanavians. Used to be into rallying in the supercar era and they all said ' for shure ' 's(h)uper fast' 'shuper good'. Ahhh the mamories.

For Sure :smt002

Managed to avoid the results until the re-showing on Eurosport1 ... by which time they'd got round to fixing Eurosport2.

A Brit 1,2,3 for the first time ever in WSB and then they do it again with a slight change for the second race, and you find it "entertaining".
There was some brilliant racing as well.
Perhaps you should have gone for the other option Andy!

LOL - yeah the racing was very good

The other option wasn't actually on the menu!
