Right result by the sound of it - anything else could be the finish of club racing.
Its always bad when someone gets seriously injured, but unfortunately accidental clashing with other bikes / riders is part of racing - accidents happen, people get seriously hurt but we need to accept it or not take part.

Well, depending on clarification as to whether there could be an appeal, this is good news and I'm sure we all agree it's really the only sane decision.

Indeed. And take out insurances to cover the 'what ifs' that go with the sport.
