I use cash alot and if they don't want to take it I go elsewhere. This government is 100% anal about laundering, don't they realise 90% of it goes through banks no problem and then gets divided up and does the circuits of loads of accounts, mostly oiffshore.

In the last 7 days Origami Bank has folded, Sumo Bank has gone belly up and Bonsai Bank announced plans to cut some of its branches.

Yesterday, it was announced that Karaoke Bank is up for sale and will likely go for a song while today shares in Kamikaze Bank were suspended after they nose-dived.

While Samurai Bank are soldiering on following sharp cutbacks, Ninja Bank are reported to have taken a hit, but they remain in the black.

Furthermore, 500 staff at Karate Bank got the chop and analysts report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank where it is feared that staff may get a raw deal.

Psssst I really laughed at this and have sent it to my financial advisor... dont tell anyone I laughed though, because they all sound very serious :smt002

Yes - while definitely appreciating the gravity of the situation and agreeing with everything that's been said, I can't resist the opportunity for 'avin a larf...

I wish it was original, by the way, but I nicked it off another forum...

Yeah - sent that to a good number of my work colleagues a little while ago - caused much amusement.

(I work for a Japanese company, BTW)
