Formula 1 starts tomorrow
Whaddya reckon?
Young Lewis going to clear up this year?
I personally think that now he's shown his hand with last season, there's going to be a whole lot of drivers doing a whole lot to put him back in his box... I reckon 3rd will be about his best result.

I've not really noticed any of the hype that was all over the place last time..?
I didnt actually realise it was upon us already 'til earlier. I guess the public forgets too soon, the amazing speed with which he burst upon the scene, or maybe.. well, it's not really news is it.
No doubt it'll all kickstart off again tomorrow...
Im on duty, so im not liable to be watching it.

Honestly? Interesting as I was bored after the first 5 or so laps. I used to watch every race from the senna/prost years but cant get interested in it now , i think its the rules.Samray wrote:The only boring thing about that race was Hamilton's Schumacher-like performance as far as I was concerned.
They add more and more to try and make it exiting and/or cut costs but if it takes that much then something is wrong at a base level I think. Either that or bike racing has raised my expectations?

I was watching the pre race coverage just before going to the beach
The commentators were pretty blunt about the chance of an overtake ever happening in F1 and in so many words tied it all down to pit stops, now we all know that, but one of the drivers (dunno which one) made a point I never really considered before.
Paraphrasing "..... what do you expect? the fastest cars from qualifying go at the front, the slowest at the back. Why would there be any passing!...."
Takes me back to the old banger racing days, when they put the fastest guys at the back, now there's an idea.
