Soldiers sent home for stripping
A woman in the bar said the soldiers' antics were distasteful
Eight Devon-based soldiers could face disciplinary action after being forced to return home from Norway for inappropriate behaviour.
The men from 59 Commando Squadron Royal Engineers, based at Chivenor, were arrested after stripping naked and urinating on each other in public.
They were in Norway to take part in Operation Octans, an annual Arctic training exercise.
Norwegian police fined the soldiers before releasing them.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Defence told BBC News the unit was considering internal disciplinary action against the eight men.
They were dancing about and shouting 'Ooh, ah, naked bar'
A woman who was in the Sfinx Bar in Harstad where the incident happened, described the soldier's actions as "disgusting".
"I was hoping for a nice time shooting pool and taking some beers with my friends," 29-year-old Cecilie Kleppe said.
"When I came in they made rude comments which were not very charming.
"After a while they starting getting undressed. They were dancing about and shouting 'Ooh, ah, naked bar'.
"It was distasteful and I think disgusting."
The 59 Commando Squadron is an army unit, but forms part of 3 Commando Brigade Royal Marines.
