Well the deed is done!

#1 Post by TC » Fri Feb 08, 2008 8:03 pm

As some of you may remember, I posted here a couple of weeks ago about the dilema I was facing regarding a job offer I had made to me by my old law firm even though I was still employed.

Well, today the deed was done

Signed my new contract with my new firm, chose my car and then went back and formally resigned from my current job.

Better result still is that after my boss realsied he was not going to get me to change my mind, he made it very clear that the door would always be left open for me to return if things did not work out, but in any case I can actually finish on Tuesday.

This gives me an extended weekend and a bit before I go back to work on the 18th

What was really nice is that when I went into the office to sign my contract, people were coming out to greet me, which included the Chief Executive (who has just brought a Triumph Sprint) and welcome me back, now that really makes me feel good.

I think it is safe to say I have made the right decision!

grats :)

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Excellent result!
