scrote update - again

#1 Post by Aladinsaneuk » Thu Sep 20, 2007 8:25 am

Ok - youth court result.

Assailant has been bailed to appear before the magistrates court on 9/11/07 as the youth court felt that the case was too serious for them to deal with.

The magistrates have alreading indicated that they will commit the case to the Crown Court as they do not have the sentencing powers that the case may need.

The toad is still saying nothing, and indications are that he will plead not guilty.

So, case continues. I have also been made aware that he has left Beccles, my/our town as apparently he is a marked man and the local populace are not impressed by him....

I suspect that the court case will be in the early part of next year

This sounds like good news - the courts recognising the implications and pushing it to the courts that have teeth.

The Scrote may say nothing but you and your witness are there to give the story - I guess it just depends whether he intimidates people to 'witness' on his behalf and they are seen as credible by the courts.

Bizarre how he can keep his silence for a GBH charge but you would be forced to state who was driving/riding if your vehicle gets flashed for breaking a relatively trivial speed regulation.

Shame these processes drag on so - I bet you just want this resolved and be able to move on.
Anyway, hopefully a sign that Mr Scrote is getting what's coming to him.

The wheels grind slowly, but things still look to be going in the right direction. Keep your chin up mate, and let's hope he gets what he deserves in the end. At least now you won't have to face meeting him on the street.
