On what might still be a sensitive issue a bit of thought is required I think.
If Pete had been in a position to do as you say then it would be him up on the charge without the benefit of being under age etc. As it was most of those 'Rambo' type movies give the wrong idea about how easy it is to deal with multiple weapon wielding opponents........
