In fairness to his posse.. I think that'd have taken quite a loooong time to restore on his todd.
Now all he has to do is maintain it to that condition!! That in itself'd not be an easy task.. -cheaper though!!
A bit behind the story, it seems..
As you know, Simon is very ill. He's making himself worse working on his car.
