JFK to New York City ?

Hi All,

We are off to New York for a few days next month. Really excited .

Question for anyone who has been, or goes regularly..... What is the best way to get from JFK airport into the city? Train, Cab, Bus ???

We haven't made arrangements in advance but we still have time if its advisable.

Sorry - I've only ever flown in and out of Newark airport (from there I've used either the airport bus or the train)

I have never been but using my warped logic, think of these factors..
A train won't get held up in traffic,
A bus sticks to a set route,
None of the above can take you on a mystery tour to rack up a good earner,
You will always find taxi's outside bus and train terminals to take you the short hop to your hotel.
So unless you are destined to arrive in the middle of the night I would use bus or train.

JFK taxi drivers have a well deserved reputation for interesting and diverse, if possibly circuitous routes. Get the bus!
