That is right on my doorstep.
A few guys at work ended up selling bikes and scooters because they were thief magnets.
Hope they get caught and jailed before they cause more misery and injury

Maybe they should set up a vigilante group, or better yet booby trap the bikes so they can't start them.
I hate it when people ask if you have a bathroom, I want to say "No we pee in the garden"

When some scumbag nicked my little stroker after I had an accident and it got shoved into the garage without the door being locked, he clearly couldn't start it so he dumped it not far away - but cut right through the main wiring loom before he left - had to be just spite.

I had one nicked.

Found out where it was three days later.

Rang the plod, they were busy.

I fetched it back and told the plod.

They all of a sudden found the resources to come and check the bike was mine?

Mr plod got loads of verbal abuse of yours truly.

Yeh, they're not great at finding stolen goods, even if you point to where it is. But go and fetch it back yourself, WOW! There's a can-o-worms

Absolute disgrace

Whilst I'm not anti police, I wouldn't say I'm pro police either, I guess it depends on the force and their resource.

The issue is the punishment and the fact the scrotums have fuck all better to do and most probably have not been parented correctly, either way, if anyone touched my bike with an eyelash I would remove their body parts slowly and cook them with flava beans and a nice bottle of Chianti.

Just a thought.........

Same when my son's scooter was stolen.
We got his mates together, found it and recovered it.
When we found it we told them so that they could call off their nationwide search (yeah - right). At which point, having done the difficult bit for them, they wanted to come and take it for investigation. Having had the same police scam when my company car was nicked and we then had to pay for its storage while they investigated it (at some private enterprise police pound) we told them where to go. We did let them come round to do a fingerprint thing on it but of course, that was a waste of time.

Dont worry TC. Plod has managed to fine record numbers opf motorists for speeding on the highly dangerous Motorway network round the M4 M5 junction.
