Not long back from a short trip to see a couple of friends who live over there. Wow.. What a place. The whole island is bike crazy.. Certainly a place where we don't feel persecuted for riding motorbikes.
If you ever get the oportinity to go, do it. Race season is really expensive, but it's not too bad the rest of the year. Flew over yesterday and back today for the grand total of £95 with FlyBe. Worth every penny.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

Yes but TT week is fantastic! Best week of my life when I went in 2003 - I even rode the mountain on Mad Sunday, slowest thing on the road but I was there!
The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young.

Last time i went to the TT was in 2006, my sister in law lived at onchan?
A week of free board was great. Been round the TT track on a few ocasions.
The island and the folk out there are spot on

Tolerance will be our undoing.

I've heard the Manx TT later in the year is cheaper and less frantic. Be better for a tight fisted shut in like me. I've been to the IOM but I was too young to remember it.
Where ever I lay my hat.....

Just the island itself is a place to behold. Doesn't have to be any racing on.. Loads to do. Mate of mine lives in Ballaugh, just round the corner from the infamous bridge and on the TT course. I can say that the fish n' chips in The Raven is top notch nosh, and the local beer is also very very good. hic..
The Manx GP would be the one I'd aim for. Much more my thing. The Southern 100 is also meant to be pretty good.
