Yesterday I used the power of Facebook allied to the kindness of bikers to help out a friend stuck in hospital 100+ miles from home with no friends in the area and a dying phone with no charger. he now has a charger and a local contact, courtesy of a bloke I only met once at a rally.
I messaged him on FB, told him what kind of phone, he looked up what charger it needed, borrowed one from a friend, took it to the hospital and left my firend with his moby number in case he needed anything else. When I thanked him he said "We're only here once, we may as well try and help someone"
Who wouldn't be a biker?

This is the family we speak of in biker language. Not many understand it, and it's often mocked, but family is everything.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the saddle.

BTW, when I say 'biker' it means those of us on two or three wheels - shorthand for motorcyclist, whatever - I don't differentiate. Scooter folks are great too.

t is a bike thing
Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...
