Talan Racing

#1 Post by T.C. » Wed Feb 19, 2014 11:30 am

I thought some of you may be interested in the announcement that my firm has agreed and decided to sponsor Britains first and only paraplegic to hold an international competition license. We are title sponsors.

Talan will be racing in this seasons Thundersport series using a specially adapted SV650, and includes an event at Assen later in the year. He eventually hopes to be able to progress to the Supersport or Superbike class.

Given that he is unable to use his legs and therefore has had to start from the back of the grid in previous seasons but has still managed to finish well up the order, now that due to a special adaptation he will be able to start from whatever position he qualifies in, it should be an exciting season.

If you are interested in following a particular team, then Talan Racing may well be worth a follow.

Nice to hear you are sponsoring someone. Doubly so that they are paraplegic! Hope the guy enjoys the ride!

That is a fantastic piece of news, and congrats on your sponsorship deal, a most worthy cause. This should raise plenty of awareness for their paraplegics, and more to the point thier abilities, rather than disabilities.

I would love to sponsor somebody like this but unfortunately just don't have the financial means to do it. I will however spread the word (and their website link) with as many people as I can.
