If you have not heard about Kevin Ash?

#1 Post by T.C. » Wed Jan 23, 2013 4:07 pm

The well known and by and large respected bike journalist Kevin Ash has been killed in a crash whilst attending a BMW launch.

Met him and chatted with him a number of times, didn't always agree with him, but I had respect for him and he was passionate about his bikes.

RIP

Yes, I read that earlier today when browsing the Torygraph online. Very sad to hear it; I always enjoyed Kev's take on things and his technical articles were always well researched.

A very sad loss.

A very clever guy, always wrote thought provoking articles, even though a lot of them were in the toilet paper press

If I remember correctly he was year or so behind me going through Uni (Imperial College) I new him to speak to at the time as he was also into bikes back then. I new his mate (Joules) who was racing a little better.
Sorry to hear of his demise, hopefully he was enjoying himself right to the last moment.
Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can enjoy today
