#1 Post by kneescratch » Wed Dec 16, 2009 10:38 am

Msv are offering "taster sessions" at all of their circuits for just £20.00

A few of the lads done a session at Brands earlier this year and said it was good value and great to get the juices flowing in anticipation for spring.

Not for Mrs. Viking, it's not....
It's the V-twin thing. There's just something about it that inline-4s don't have at all, and V-4s don't have enough of.

Was having a look at that one meself, keep saying that I should have a go at Oulton seeing as it's practically on my door step, but February! Fliipin cold, no heat in the tyres, hmmm. Might not be the best time for my first trackday, might wait until they post a few more dates later in the year, but I'm guessing they won't be that cheap

Firestarter,

if you can pick a dry day in Feb just keep yourself warm and the tyres will look after themselves. :smt003

Oulton is a brilliant circuit, especially if it's the full international circuit and they run it without the new(ish) chicane that emasculates Knickerbrook. But I'd be a bit worried about heat in the tyres in Feb, as well...

I done December and January on a Bandit 400 import at Oulton and have to say that it was a blast (once the ice had thawed out :smt002 ) By the end of the day there was a dry line anyway. All for £50 each. If my bike is ready i may do it again but on the Falco. Got a lot to do though.
