it'll be great.
1. Remove numberplate before you get to the track
2. tape up front lights and indicators and tax disc
3. sort your tyre pressures out before you go on track
4. ride it like you stole it but watch out for the corners.. theyre all one way apart from.. a couple? hot side, cold side of tyre, big walloping V twin..
Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly

Front lights are to prevent damage and shattering if you bin it

Mirrors taped are to prevent damage and distraction and shattering if you bin it

Indicators tape up so if you knock it on, people dont get the wrong idea.

DONT tape up your brakelight on a novice day.. many arent used to bikes slowing in front of them without the telltale red light! when you get to inters/advanced do what ya want..

Removal of numberplates and taping tax disc is for insurance purposes. Insurance companies often watch trackdays for bikes being binned. this then prevents fraudulent claims by the owner, but.. they make note of bikes that have been trackdayed and this could have an impact were you to have a claim.. especially if you turn up with a racecan and it aint declared ('i only put it on at the track' doesnt wash) no proof of this per se, but.. well... your call. also debris when you do bin it bigstyle.. a flying plate will hurt as it flies back onto the track!! :smt002

Oh don't start us off again. If you're running road tyres then use the tyre manufacturers pressure of in most cases I think 36, 42.

If you want to waste money, go slower but snot them up like a hero drop them some.
Don't put off 'till tomorrow what you can enjoy today

no

he is from yarmouth - they have big boots to get the webbed toes in

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Last year i did a taster track day and all i had to do was fold the mirrors up, didn't tape the headlight as it's plastic so wouldn't shatter like glass, didn't remove plate either ( :smt017 )....completely different experience, even the sighting laps were super fast (for me), hairiest point was knowing when to break at the end of the long straight (pretty long at Bedford Areodrome), next time going to try California Superbike School at Silverstone to get my cornering technique right

Look forward to seeing the photos slick
