Can anyone tell me if the BBC are covering WSB this year?

Don't think so - Channel 4 might do 5-minute highlights at some unspeakably early hour in the morning though.

Looks like good old Eurosport as usual then!
Still I've always been happy with them.

No matter who covers the BSB, WSB and MotoGP I always stick with Eurosport.
Firstly because I love the coverage and the commentary teams (Toby, Moody, Julian Ryder, James Whitham, Mamola etc... are just bloody brilliant) and secondly (and probably more importantly) because the other channels such as the Beeb,. Channel 4 or Sky both pick up and drop bike racing on an annual basis according to what they can afford.

I stick with Eurosport out of loyalty and because I can rely on them and their expert coverage every year, simple as that and I urge everyone to do the same

Last year I watched MotoGP on Eurosport and BBC, Eurosports coverage was the worst IMO, 2 blokes who droned on and on and knew feck all about it.

Sorry Gio, but I'll stick with Eurosport, as F9 says they've stuck with us, not dropped the sport as and when they wanted. As for Toby, Julian, James and Randy, they are all fine by me. They all add to the excitment rather than the boring coverage we get from the rest. OK the adverts are a pain but if I have to put up with that just to get top class racing every year, that's fine by me!

Strange, I thought the exact opposite. All a matter of taste I suppose.

Best place tho is live, unless you're going to Le Mans, the commentator there is in love with himself

Yeah, another "+1" for Eurosport.

At first I wasn;'t taken by Messrs Moody & Rider but it doesn't take long for them to grow on you. They are certainly more knowledgeable than the dumbed-down fare we get on the other channels.

For me the worst things are:

• 1) When they switch coverage to Eurosport 2 (I don't get that channel )
  
  2) When, they broadcast at a different time to that which they publish and I record endless hours of cycling, horse jumping, tennis or some such ... followed by the first 5 mins of bike racing before the Tivo stops recording. Wouldn't be so bad if it was the beach volleyball - but it never is. This happens far too frequently

Some of us don't have the option - terrestrial tv only here!

What surprises me is that Kwackerz hasn't posted that he likes the BBC version......................after all some of us know why

Don't forget, if you have a digital box you can get Eurosport and a few other channels for just £7.00 a month on top-up TV (and not pay for the months you don't want).

As for the adverts, I just switch to BBC when they're on and back to Eurosport after a few minutes.
