Julian Rider and Toby Moody?

#1 Post by Syltiz » Thu Jun 25, 2009 5:46 pm

I have missed something. I thought Julian and Toby were back on Eurosport yet I have only heard them commentate on one race so far?

Aparently they are together at some races, or only one of them with someone else at other races, or neither of them at all at some races.
In other words, a complete cock up :smt003

The Eurosport decision was quite late so presumably they went off and found other work.

The commentary generally hasn't been that bad IMO - I like the addition of James Haydon.

Must admit I've thought these "stand ins" are so bad that I've considered switching to watch it on the Beeb.
Hopefully Eurosport will get it sorted for next season.

Agreed... I cant do BBC.

I have a mate who is only allowed to watch MotoGP if he has the sound off as it irritates the missus... how sad

Agreed about Charlie Cox but that other bloke on Eurosport's just as bad, hasn't got much of a clue what he's on about.

Was never a great fan of Moody and Ryder but having seen their replacements you have to admit they are always on the ball and know what they're talking about.

Personally I think Jamie Whitham and Jack Burnicle (sp.) are by far the best commentary team out there

So, did anyone see Randy Mamola touting for a job on the BBC at the weekend?
