So at the moment it's still only Casey Stoner who can ride the Duke, and he came off again.
It'll make Loris feel a lot happier after last year, also nice to see him 7th fastest on the Suzuki.
And finally nice to see JT up to 11th fastest on the Yam, things are getting better.

And what about Randy De Puniot new on the Honda this year, shows his improved pace last year was no fluke.
Can't wait to see how things pan out this year.

Interesting to see Colin Edwards in front of the factory Yahama of Valentino.

I've been watching it as well. Stoner looks a bit shaky at the moment (that shoulder can't be helping either)

I was not impressed with Livio Suppo's comments about electrics, its a known fact that Italians and electricity make bad bed partners. I bet the clutch problems are electrical as well.

By the way, Fiat who are the Yamaha sponsors ( major) are the owners of Ducati. I can see more politics on the horizon especially after Rossi and Burgess stuck their oars in :smt005 :smt005

I'm hoping that Melandri will stuff it to Stoner. :smt003

I'd not read much into the times at the moment - they'll be shaking things down, getting basic setup, maybe doing longer runs to see how things work - all doing different bits and bobs. I doubt that much of this gives a meaningful comparison.

aye andy

and i expect stoners bike to piss all over the others - remember that the duke has a review/change halfway through the season so they do not want to be top of the heap... yet

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Is it that duke that has the review? I thought it was the big-bore WSB rule buster that was to be reassessed?

Pretty impressive time by JT, mustve fancied the arse of the faster rider infront and got towed
Jacque used to be so quick, maybe he should have retired when he was injured

And who cares about caparossi, once a cheat always a cheat, even aprilia dont like him :smt002
