I don't understand why he'd sign for them?

I see he's recently ended an 8 year association with Shoei too. A top, top brand with amazing quality product, great UK staff and onsite technical support who have traditionally paid their star riders quite well. I have no idea which brand he's switching to, but LS2 seem to be pretty cashed up and are rounding up a heap of riders these days to establish themselves. They've also passed the new FIM testing standard so they aren't too shabby at all.

I reckon he's figured he is getting older and needs to take the biggest and best offers he can get and the Norton thing is for the small bikes, but the big ones are where he can earn the most so he'll be sticking with a marque that can win that class. Maybe it's time to bank as much as possible. Why not?
