My neighbour got BT Sport with his internet line and was really happy that he would be able to watch his team, Sheffield United, in the FA Cup semi final against Hull.
The first half was good for him and the Blades, who were 2 - 1 up at half time.
Second half there was no coverage at all and it ended up 5 - 3 to Hull.
Perhaps it saved him the pain.
Still a crap service from somebody who are good at it!
Don't even think of paying BT for video without a fibre link.
Sadly most of us have no choice, whoever the service actually comes from, the lines are almost always BT.
There are even parts of South Yorkshire still using aluminium cabling, as a result of the Gambian copper crises in the "fifties", (probably other areas of UK as well).
