WSB Assen - How close can you get?

#1 Post by HowardQ » Sun Apr 29, 2007 2:48 pm

Another two brilliant WSB races this weekend.
How close can Jim get to a double and miss out?
As you've probably gathered I'm a massive James Toseland fan, (did I tell you he used to live on the end of our road? Yeh probably did!).
First race was JT at his best, conserved the tyres mid race and took a great win, but what a finish in race 2. The last few laps with JT and Bayliss over the limit at times was a brilliant advert for bike racing. JT passes Troy, coming into the last couple of bends, leads out of the last bend, then Troy (with a better line thru the last corner) outdrags him to the line and takes it be 0.009 secs on the line, incredible.
That bloke still has balls, whatever damage he did!
I'll be on holiday in Cyprus for the next round in Monza, just hope I can find a bar showing Eurosport, cos I can't wait.
