hello everyone :smt006 ...well I havn't been here for a year or so and I apologise for that ...but I do pop back to visit from time to time!

Anyway down to the reason i'm here ...I'm selling my Gen 1 Tuono ...I have a divorce looming so it has to go.
It's a cracking bike and well sorted, much more grunt than my old Falco!! ... I havn't worked a price out yet as I've lost touch with the prices so I'll be working one out when I browse others for sale..
It's never been on a trackday in it's life, serviced regular, mature owner (me ...been riding bikes 40+ years) here's the lowdown

2004 model
18K Miles
Renegade airbox
Full Akra' system
Power commander
SBK Chip
Ohlins steering damper
Recent chain sprockets
Meta alarm

not a very good pic and slight changes since (rear decal removed as I think it looks better) ..I'll post some more pics soon as the sun comes out again
please let me know if anyone is interested cheers, Dave.

cheers
Dave.

Not seen you for some time, sorry it has to go.

It's bad when it comes to splitting everything, I assume you get to keep the KTM SMT and she gets the value of the Tuono! :smt009

Seriously, I'll ask around, and let you know if anything comes up.
Hope you get everything sorted OK on all sides.

HI H ! ...how are you mate? nice to hear from you...yeah I didn't go out last year much after getting clocked at 108 in a 60 zone :smt011 (not on the Tuono! )
...I just managed to keep my licience!
still got the 950sm and plan to keep it as long as I can, i did a trip to spain on it the other year and it does anything you want it to, even some off-road stuff...its a keeper.
The Tuono IS a great bike and I will be sad to see it go.
I might end up putting it on fleabay but you get all sorts of tyre kickers comming along looking in your shed for a future night time visit!!

Divorce is long overdue ...we have been living seperate lives for the last 10 years (but in the same house!!) my fault I know but I stick my head in the sand a lot :smt009

Glad you kept your licence!
It's scary when you think about, there are so many occasions when, often quite briefly you hit silly speeds and hope there is not some distant device recording it. Even if it is only briefly on a quiet stretch of road anything over three figures can get nasty.
I still get out to places like Willingham (mainly at weekends, plus some Wednesday nights in summer when not at S. Lev) and regularly to South Leverton twice a month on Wednesdays, once it starts again, (don't miss many if weather is half decent). Will keep an eye out for you and your brother if you do start getting out again.
As for the divorce, I had a similar situation many years ago and did the "living separately" in the same house thing, but lasted less than 10 months, never mind 10 years. Having said that, we probably got on better once we had "split up" so I can see how you could get "comfortable" with it.
As I said previously, hope you get everything sorted OK.

Wednesdays are bike nights around here Geoff.
South leverton is where the vintage tin turns up and there is some really nice stuff that appears.
When is the first one Howard any ideas?

Crikey! the road-going NR750s are rare enough let alone the race only NR500s

Mmmm I like that road.
There is some markers between glentham and the thatched cottage on the road, just passed the fork in the road that leads to grimsby.
These are for the eye in the sky so i would think thats why you did'nt see them.
Lincolnshire is getting big on catching people speeding.
They are also using stealth tacticts, by placing cameras on tripods at the side of the road.
I have seen one at the end of the dual carriage way going to corringham from gainsborough.
