Aprilia SL1000 Falco
Reg: 2004,
Mot: Feb 2013

I’ve owned this bike since December 2008 (13k on the clock when I bought it). Bike was first registered in 2004, I am the 3rd owner, mileage at the moment is 37k. Used appropriately for touring around the UK and mainland Europe, serviced every 4-5k miles with fresh oil/filters. Has clip-ons flipped over the top yoke for better comfort, this can be put back to standard in a few minutes.

Good bits,
Valve check and major service done last year at 30k by Aprilia Performance. Brakes stripped and cleaned, fitted with new new seals Black-Shadow rotors and Brembo HH pads last year.
In July 2011 (at 35k) I’ve send the suspension to Rev’s Racing to be serviced. Both forks and shock were treated to new springs and valves, forks were fitted with a K-Tech valve kit.
Bike passed it's MOT last week with flying colours.

Mods and upgrades:
• Wire mod – fixed charging circuit,
• Yamaha starter relay,
• Hel brake lines, cobra clutch line,
• Wavy discs,
• 50w HID dipped beam,
• MPL clutch slave cylinder,
• US sidestand,
• Heated grips,
• Ohlins rear shock,
• BlueFlame exhaust,
• DB Screen,
• Solo seat cowl and pillion seat with grab rail.
• K&N air filter,
• Gabro eprom,
• R&G crash bungs,
• Inforad,
• Fenda extender,

Not so good bits,
Bike was knocked over in a car park last year – as it landed on a kerb, the side fairing and the radiator got damaged. Bike was repaired by the insurance company and delivered back to me. It hasn’t been written off and hasn’t got any damage history.
Since then I’ve put about 10k miles on it and haven’t had a problem.

Looking for £2600
Tax runs out in March and bike will probably be sorned.
Any questions, please ask.

Yeah ... shame you're bailing on us Dyzio .... though as you know we don't let people off that easily as this isn't solely an Aprilia forum :smt002

Lovely looking bike .... if I didn't have one already I would be sorely tempted.

So what's the old girl done to piss you off, Dyzio? It's just nicely run in at 35k - plus with all those tasty mods...

It's been an on/off relationship all the time, I've made a mistake of trying a smaller/lighter bike and decided to go for it.

Thanks for the comments.

And me and the Falco have been across the Viaduc, as well; even been to the visitor centre underneath (don't bother - waste of time, really).

So you've gone for her sexy, slim younger sister, the RSV4 - eh?
