I don't get the bodies attached like that
The filter bit looks half the depth of the Renegade unit.
You buying them then Oko?
Or rather want to buy them.

By allen screws through the velocity stacks/filter base plate and into the bodies gio,
No I won't be bidding ...to be honest I'm not sure if they are a bolt-on and go item or if other adjustments are needed ie:chip / idle trim pots / fuel pressure regulator etc etc.
Filter looks the same as mine though ...(it's a renegade airbox and came with pipercross filter as standard)
Thought it worth posting in case someone else fancied them

Your posts in here are informative Oka but if you posted something I'd spotted and was trying to win I'd be like ARGH! if they became known to the wider community!

Judging by the throttle bodies I doubt if they are a straight swap.
I like the ones on my sons bike they really do have a teriffic induction noise

...I know what you mean hornetrider ..but chances are that most people with an Aprilia RSV/Tuono/Falco who has a browse on fleabay will have seen em anyway
many times I've been bidding on an item thinking "no-one has seen it ..I'm gonna get it for next to nowt woooo" ...only to see the price double in the last 5 seconds and loose out!!!

..gutted.
I think they are a straight swap fitting wise gio (same external dimentions just the internal bore size increased and larger butterflies) it's just the fiddly bits afterwards that may be a problem...I'm sure one of the "ridersite family" will enlighten me.

..The expensive fiddly bits..?
1. Why is he getting rid so soon?
2. Why bother? Once youve set it up as in fitted it, you'll still have to f*ck about on a Dyno for quite a while poncing round with different stack heights, chips and god knows what else to get the bike a. running right b. running with a decent power increase and curve...
I'd not bother unless you've just got a new mortgage..

I'm watching it as I dont have a mortgage
I would be using the 'fit it, flog it , see if it seizes' method of setup. Plenty of engines on ebay anyway

I already have some but not fitted them yet. I recently got a fuel pressure modifier, a fuel pressure guage and two FP chips soI am good to go. One of the chips has a daughter board and it the 13/14 chip for 42psi and the other chip is for the higher pressure.
I will be messing about with the setting this week I will keep you all posted on my voyage of discovery

I like the way you can go on that auction and positively
feel the hundreds of eyes sat watching it, along with the low hisses of 'Gwaan, let me drop it at £50 with a second to go..'
Just know it isnt gonna happen though
