actually, he will probably sell them... or would do if most of us had not already done the mod/fitted an different stand

nice idea though, and i do wish him/her well - and in all seriousness I would buy one for 30 quid all in... just in case he is a reader here :)

Looks like a good idea to me. However if I was in the market for one I would like to see a picture of it in action.

As for the price - he's probably pitched it about right. OK so it seems high but it saves all the hassle of finding your second hand Jap stand and deciding how to modify it and even then spending possibly close to £45 anyway :smt012

Good luck to him - it was small scale entrepreneur-ship like that that got many of us our rear lenses - Thanks again to GregD :smt006

Plus it looks better than a modded gsxr stand, also cost wise its cheaper as I've seen gsxr sidestands are creeping up pricewise

aye - my stand was 15 drinking vouchers including the switch

funnily enough, now that I have a new rear shock, i am thinking about trying the original one as it is now higher....

I've bid on this first one, so watch this space!
I'd never got round to fitting a Gixxer unit, prices recently seem to be creeping up to near the same price and I don't currently have easy access to welding gear for any mods, (so that would cost me if I went down the VTR route). Had more or less made my mind up to go for a US unit, but this unit is cheaper.

The stands will cost £45 Plus P & P.

I have 5 available now & I will be ordering more to be ready in approx 6 weeks time.

I asked him the question and apparently all the angles are built in to it . It is plug and play.

Fitted mine on Sunday and looks good to me as it is, just need to refit belly pan to see if that's OK without any modifications.
It's well made and angle looks good on standard fixing, goes much further out than standard, but does stick out a bit further when up.
I have a white spring shock set on the lowest setting for use with the falco stand at the moment. Will probably raise the ride height now, which will mean it will lean over a bit further, but looks pretty sturdy as it is.
Will check with belly pan on and post some pictures.

Did anyone ever follow this up? HQ, how did the stand go when all was fitted/ride height adjusted etc? :smt017
