OK I'm clearing out the sheds in anticipation of emigrating to Oz so I'm going to sell this too.
The old workhorse has about 62k on the clock.
Looks a bit tatty, been sitting for a couple of years, but fired up after a couple of turns with a new battery and fresh fuel.
I'll try and get a photo up in a bit.
Make me an offer.[/b]

Appreciated,
I don't know what I'd be looking for really I've just decided to flog it.
Considering the condition 1988 no MOT, tax or insurance and mileage I'll not be looknig for big bucks. it has got a new Hagon shock on the back and springs in the front. and a very loud zorst (vance and hines) spare zorst for MOT's spare indies, front seat and seat covers, heated grips, Honda reg/rec, spare front tyre.
I'd start negotiations at £500.

Should get an MOT, but you can never tell.
Only thing I know is a problem is the front brake switch. replaced with pressure switch (twice), they're crap, but got a replacement floating about in the shed.
Last time I got it MOT'd (dodgy little gaff in Dalston, Hackney) I left the Vance and Hines' on and got through.
Will try to extricate it from the bowels of the garage and take a piccy or 2 at the weekend.

Here are the photos. The dodgy rear indicator has been replaced with the correct one now. I had it running again this weekend after putting some good fuel in, but it does need some attention, it's running a bit rough. The carbs probably need cleaning through, the front brake switch isn't working (pressure jobbie, crap!) I've got an original unit that should work, needs a bloody good clean and a run around to get the rust off the disks and some oil on the chain.

'That looks nice' ...said Kwackerz out loud.
'THWACKKK!!' ...went the sound of Mrs K's hand as she twatted me round the head.
'No chance' Said Mrs K, noticing I was looking in the Classifieds section

WRONG WRONG WRONG,
Not nice it's BAD, proper muscle bike for big boys. Proper handfull too, with a 16 inch fron wheel teaches you all you need to know about countersteering.
My question to you is exactly how long is the chain on your kitchen sink?
I'm running and hiding right now

Falco, I sold my EG on Ebay, got over £800 for it and could probably have gotten more had I not taken an early offer. They are still popular with the drag racers, mainly for parts, but the guy that bought mine wanted to restore it to original condition!.
It may be worth giving Ebay a try.

Cheers Highside,
I've got an offer and I thought I could get more, but I'm happy enough.
Good to hear you're back in circulation and the op seems to be a sucess.
Speedy recovery.
