Futura for sale - SOLD

#1 Post by katie1 » Tue Jan 01, 2019 9:03 pm

Hi All

After 7 months and 16000 miles, the Futura is back up for sale! I have been using it for a daily commute into London but, as of April, it wont meet the criteria for the ULEZ so will have to go :smt009

Anyway, it's up on Ebay (183615383531) with a starting price of £1200 with no reserve so could be going cheap to one lucky soul!

It's not in pristine condition but this was Tweaker's old bike so had all the essential mods done and has got all the usual bits and pieces including:

Pyramid double bubble screen
Adjustable levers
Rutan crash protectors
Oberon clutch slave cylinder
Mille front forks and rotors (originals included)
HID headlight and dip beam mod
Zorstec cans
Air box restrictor removed
05 map installed
Wiring mod
Fuel connector replaced
Fuel pressure regulator mod
16T front sprocket
Stebel Nautilus horn
DIN/Hella Power socket in the moulding on the right hand dash (I used it to power a satnav)
Scottoiler
Heated grips
Panniers (slightly tatty but a spare is included)
Colour-matched Bagster tank cover
R&G bar-end weights

Shout if you know anyone who might be interested and please accept my sincere apologies for the snow which will undoubtedly follow now my Ebay listing has gone live... :smt012

That's just like mine .... but rather better!

Were I in the market, I'd bite your hand off for it .... though maybe I'd be a little less aggressive towards a valued forum member!

Well, you could buy it and have all the spares you'll ever need?

And perhaps just a gentle nibble? :smt002

Glad to see you got plenty of use from the Fut Katie 😊👍. Hope the new owner enjoys it too.
The ride is the reason ........ the destination is just the excuse.
