For Sale Aprilia Future, 2002, 12,000 miles £2000
Hi everyone. Unfortunately, for health reasons, the time has come to part company with my Fut.
It's a 2002 in Atlantic blue with just 12000 miles on the clock! Comes with factory panniers (plus a spare one, nearside I think).
So, what about the mods (well, we do don't we?). It has the 05 map, Zorstec under seat cans, Mille front forks with 320mm rotors (why DID Aprilia fit smaller discs to a tourer??) DB screen, heated grips, Scott oiler, decent tyres and newish chain. I'm sorting a new MoT next week.
There a few minor scratches on the lower fairing but otherwise in good condition. All the original bits are also available if wanted.
I'm looking for around £2k but open to sensible offers. PM me if interested.
BTW, I'm hoping to be on holiday from Wednesday 18th. I'll check in from time to time but don't panic if you don't get an immediate response and thanks for looking!
Cheers

The ride is the reason ........ the destination is just the excuse.

Aaah, that makes sense now!

Yeah - not that I wish Dave a year's less riding but I wish it were available about a year ago when I was searching for one.
I'm certain that Dave's one will be in better condition than mine (not that I've had a chance to start fettling it yet).
Whoever buys should get a good bike.

And I do feel like a proper winner too, thanks DaveTweaker wrote:Thanks everyone for the kind words. And........ Katie is the winner!
Sorry to see it go really but, I know Katie will get far more use from it than I will.
Am looking forward to riding the bike, especially as we seem to have shaken off winter at last!

Congrats Katie! There's definitely a lot of life in the new purchase and I envy his/her condition! Puts mine to shame :(!

Oh dear, you're three bikes behind the news! The Futura went, the VFR800 came and went, the CBR650F came and went and now just waiting for the lockdown to finish so the S1000RR can take it's place in the garage!
