Anyone want to buy a Falco? SOLD

#1 Post by katie1 » Fri Mar 31, 2017 4:50 pm

After a short ownership and another 11k miles, the Falco is going again!

41k miles, slightly tatty and with a lightly bent clip on! No idea how that happened, the previous seller failed to mention it and I didn't notice it myself. Could have been a classic Falco fall over before the stand was replaced?

Have had loads of maintenance work done and just had it serviced again, and new brake pads fitted. Things picked up by the garage are, the oil cooler needs new rubber mounts, they think there is a slight oil leak around the water pump seal and also reckon it needs new front discs (felt fine to me but hey). Tyres will also need replacing in the not too distant future (still plenty of tread but rear is starting to square off)

The good stuff is, Remus cans, Ohlins shock, R&G bungs, handguards, upgraded starter, new battery, rear Givi rack arms, db screen, hugger, datatag, oberon slave cylinder, k&n air filter, braided lines, higher gearing, fireblade side stand, pillion seat and seat cowl. Original exhausts included. Oh, the alarm has been removed too!

Knowing the work that needs to be done, I reckon £1200 (or thereabouts) would be reasonable.

Will put a proper ad together but thought I'd shout out here first. Will probably end up going cheap on ebay but you might just want all the bits and decide it's easier to ride your spares home![/img]

Dare one ask why?
For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

That's a shame Katie. Whatever you replace it with, do stick around on here. All bikes and bikers are welcome, we just talk about Falcos a lot.

Oh yes, If you're getting something else - or even if you're not, PLEASE stick around!
