UPDATE: SOLD!

Hi all,

I bought a CF front mudguard for the Falco a while back and whilst it looks the business, it doesn't seem to fit properly. When fitted, it was very, very close to the tyre (less than 1/4" clearance) and I was afraid the tyre was rubbing every so slightly on it when riding because there was a slight whiff of burning rubber when I stopped at traffic lights.. (Although there is no sign of any rubbing inside the guard.)

So I carefully filed the mounting holes to try and lift it up a bit, only to have the fork legs start hitting it when the suspension compressed a bit.

As for that funny hole in the right-hand side, it seems to be for a brake line, although the Falco's brake line wasn't at the right angle to clip into it.

So, the damned thing is up for sale - AU$50 + shipping.

If you were in the UK I'd be biting your arm off (as I'm sure many others would). HoweverI guess cost of shipping to the other side of the world would be prohibitive...

According to the AusPost shipping calculator, a parcel between 1.0 and 1.5kg (which is what I estimate the packaged up guard will weigh) will set you back:

Regular air mail: AU$56
Sea mail: AU$30

According to today's exchange rate, AU$1.00 = GBP 0.55

Ball park figures for the guard, with shipping:

Air mail - GBP 60
Sea mail - GBP 45
