Stick them on ebay, mark up the price and buy yourself a couple of beers for your troubles.

I reckon these tail tidies will achieve the legendary status of the clear taillights of yore. They are that good...

I don't have a clear one, I have a smoked one. I feel like I'm missing out now.

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock

Two remaining

#188 Post by FalcoDaz » Sun Jun 21, 2015 9:16 am

Hi flatlander,

Any progress? I'm going to have to let one of these go tomorrow if I don't hear from you today. I don't want to be left with them if I have buyers.

I hope you appreciate my predicament?

Wish I checked this site more regularly! Will you be making any more of these in the near future or are there any left over?

Thanks, Rob.

Tail Tidies

#190 Post by FalcoDaz » Sun Aug 09, 2015 1:54 pm

Hi all,

I'm getting a little bit of interest in the tail tidy, so I'm looking to get another small batch made if the interest is genuine. I've had 3 enquiries so will enquire if I can get 5 more made at what cost. If you know anybody who is sitting on the fence, get them to contact me and we'll see if we can convince them it's a good buy.

If you bought one of the first batch and have any feedback, please fire it my way and if there are any issues I can see about getting them resolved for future versions.

Cheers guys

I'd say they're absolutely bang on as they are. I'm well happy with mine.

I had the other one that was originally made (by fatboy?) off the bike this evening to drill in some additional holes to mount some bars to support the wingrack.

I have to say, it is holding up very well. After a bit of a clean it basically came up looking brand new. Very well made :)

Wayno made the original two piece powder coated ones and very good they are too.
I was unlucky in that the powder coaters did not prep the indicator bracket very well and rust got to it in the end.
Top marks to both Wayno and Daz for bloody well doing it !
