Sorry Jasa, had to have it, can't afford for Debz to be on the train for another week, even running a Falco into London every days is cheaper (and way way more enjoyable) that Worst Great Western.

The Newbury Aprilia show room is growing :smt003

Already had Aladin trying to buy the Givi rack off us before I'd even put the deposit down!!!

no worries. I did think it would have been a bit rude of me to steal it, especially as Ozboy wanted it to go to a forum member and you have been here quite a bit longer than me. Just make sure you let me know if Debz doesn't like it (Fat chance!!!!). Otherwise if you hear of any other gooduns for sale...you know who's looking.

I would like to think that i am a special kind of vulture.... you do have to admire my style.....

and I would like to stress that this was not for my bike.... but for hannas - it would help to fit the crib!

Let's face it, you wouldn't go to a nurse to get good advice on a problem with a Falco - you'd choose an Engineer or a mechanic...

Well yes, you certainly are quite 'special' (is it time to post that photo of you again?).

I really don't know what the long term plans are for this bike, initially it's to get Debz to and from work, once her Fazer's fixed it may become a sort of pool bike with no mods or curious tinkering or 'improvements' to make sure we always have at least one working bike between us!

All the tasty vulture bait on it is stuff we'd both use, so I can't see anything being stripped off and sold on in the near future.

I know Debz would like a Tiger 800 to replace the Fazer eventually, so maybe they could both go in PX on a new Tiger in a year or so? No idea, we'll have to suck it and see what happens. We may just start collecting Falcos :smt003

Woo Hoo :D

Managed to re-enable my forum account (thanks to Nooj reminding me what my username was!)

Picked up the Falco from Peter this afternoon. Was rather apprehensive about the first ride home on account of the weight of all the extras plus an unfamiliar riding position and the London traffic but I gelled with the bike almost immediately :D Tank bag defo helped me to adapt to the 'sports' style riding position but I was stunned how comfortable it felt straight away. Didn't have the time to take a long detour home but took in as many twisty A-roads as practical and it just felt "right" :D

Will be doing my best to fight the onset of "Falco Fever" as this is supposed to be a cheap, practical bike but it's going to be difficult to resist!

Thanks again Peter :D

Good to hear u made it back in one piece Debz.....it was a bit of a struggle to cram all the goodies on 1 bike load!

But sheat have u seen the weather outside?! First decent day in about 5 months and no bike - any chance of leasing it back off you for a couple of weeks :smt089
