Sad day indeed TN. You still gonna haunt round ere?
Out of curiosity; Ive recently fitted new pads and the same wavies as you have, (oh, front only at mo; £30 fer your rear perchance?), and Im suffering a bad case of pulsing at the bar lever. Gets worse the harder I pull!
Ive followed the correct running in procedure but they've been on a week and are still no better.
The shop I got em from reckons wavies can be juddery at first and should soon bed in but Im not convinced. There is virtually no movement/play in the floating buttons so Im suspicious of them being the problem somehow.
Whats your experience of em; I assume youve no probs?

Two is the magic number... ;)

What they say is pretty much right. I had a very slight judder with them at first, depsite running them in correctly, but after a few miles (say about 500 or so) they smoothed out completely and now they're super smooth and give mega stopping power. I think the running-in procedure should be stuck to for longer. My mate put some Braking wavey's on his 996 (and they cost an arm and a leg) and he still gets a judder under braking every time but he doesn't care because of the extra power and feel he's got and it's only very slight. Just stick with 'em and they should bed in nicely. If you put new pads in as well as rotors they've both got to bed in not just the discs.........enjoy (once they bedded in that is

No problems with my Braking Waves, they seem to need a little bit of warming up before they really bite, but that's more likely to be the pads I reckon. I get a tiny bit of on/off on/off snatchyness at really low speeds, so I just use the rear instead and leave the fronts for when I really need to slow down in a hurry, or just to help the engine braking a bit during normal riding conditions.

Hi Simon...how about £60 including postage, which will cover the return trip for the standard parts from mine?
Cheers...Andy

PM's sent to all........Fella's, please bear with me as this putting-back-to-standard thing is taking some time and I've also got to package everything up for posting but I only get weekends to do all this plus DIY (post-builders), car fixing/cleaning, gardening etc etc......oh woe is me.

I will definitely contact all who I've agreed deals with when the stuff is ready for sending......

Do you have a pic and or a link for that Carbon Fiber Clock surround? I like the sound of that, but unfortunately I scraped the budget on the last batch of stuff I bought, so I won't be able to buy it now.
