HID headlight kit

#1 Post by bigun » Fri Apr 19, 2013 7:49 pm

Good evenings!

I'm selling my HID headlight kit. It's an H7 kit with 6000k bulb (very light blue tinge). It'll do the dip beam on both Falco one RSV. Good working condition with a relatively new bulb. I've wrapped the ballast in electricians tape as it had a bright yellow warning label on it which was distracting poking out from behind the dash! Doesn't affect use though.

Why am I selling? I've bought a FireBlade! Shhh!! I still have the Mille at the minute too but don't think I'll keep it. Time for a change.

HID - £20 + postage.

Cheers

Paul

Did you sell your HID unit by any chance. If not, would be interested. What make is it? Apologies if you've posted that it's already been sold.

Pete, its now part of my falco, I jumped at the chance !
It makes one helluva difference, incredibly bright and impossible for car drivers to ignore !
I have seen HID kits for around £50 so some patient searching may pay dividends

Ballast units are a bit BIG which wasnt an issue on my tourer.

Good Guys.

Hi Frank, Have looked at these before and like the look of the new slim fit ballasts.

Here is a photo of my installation on another guys thread...

Cant remember what colour rating I went with - it will be either 6000 or 4300.

You can see the ballast screwed to the airbox with simple wood screw - not possible on a Falco I dobt think:
