Falco
Michelin Pilot Power F & R
Huge amounts of grip at all angles of lean. Inspire massive confidence in the dry, particularly getting onto the power coming out of corners. The payoff is the wear rate though with the rear already squaring off after 1500 miles. And these are supposed to be dual compound. And they aren't cheap either.
May replace the rear with a PIlot Road when needed.

I'm right 98% of the time so why worry about the other 3%?
Futura
Michelin Pilot Road 2
Done about 1200 miles on these. Good grip, especially on damp, slightly greasy roads - better than the Metzeler Z4 I had on the first Fut (still think they were implicated in the destruction of that bike). Seem to warm up reasonably quickly - again, better than the Metzelers.
The bike rolls over ever so easily - better than the Z4's.
They also cope well the Futura's extra weight.
Little sign of squaring-off as yet.
Was going to get Avon Storms, having been impressed with the Azaro's fitted when I bought the bike (though they seemed to square off sooner than expected). But the PR2s were on special offer, so decided to give them a try

Avon Storm Ultra 2's
Fitted Thursday evening, scrubbed & now upto just 200 miles, already on the edge both sides.
I was impressed with the Storm ST's I had before, never once gave me a twitch or anything, totally confident at all angles, these seem to be the same.
Had over 7000 miles from the rear on the SV650, just changed, hope that I may get somewhere close on the Falco too with the new version.
Sport touring wear with edge to edge grip? sounds good to me.

Hiding under a carpet of grey hair & lard.
I've found Pirellis work very well.
Diablo Stradas were very good
Diablo Rossos were very good
Angel STs are excellent
Diablo Rosso Corsas are excellent
It all depends what type of riding you will be doing

I put a set of Dunlop Sportsmarts on the set of Oz wheels i acquired a while back, and they are fantastic tyres. Everything I liked about the Roadsmarts, but even more so. Tremendous feeling of confidence in the twisties, bags of grip, and real poise and precision when changing direction (doubtless helped by the lighter Oz rims).
Can't find a single negative thing to say about their performance yet, although I suspect they'll wear a bit quicker than the Roadsmarts. I went for the 190/55 section and really like it (although a fair bit pricier than the 180/55). Only downside was the tyre now rubs on the hugger, so I've had to revert to the black plastic flap for shock protection...

+1 for dunlop had 2 sets of the road smarts and no they weren't on the one I killed wish they were I may not have killed it
I would say that I found the roadsmart 1 better than the later one it felt just a little more predictable

For the avoidance of doubt and for the benefit of my wife, not everything I may say here will be absolutely true I may on ocassion embellish a little for effect.
That said when it comes to motorbikes, I like to ride side saddle with a nice frock
